“My absolute favorite way to enjoy our white tea is to pour cold sparkling water over a tea bag. I call it Sparkle Brew!” - Teatulia co-founder & CEO, Linda Appel Lipsius
White tea is harvested before the tea plant’s leaves open fully, when the young buds are still covered by fine white hairs that protect them from cold and frost, hence the name “white” tea. White tea is the least processed of all the teas. Meaning white tea leaves are not allowed to oxidize (be exposed to oxygen) green or black tea leaves. The minimal processing and low oxidation results in the most delicate and fresh tea. makes it so the tea is as close to its natural state as possible. It goes through less processing than other types of tea so it retains its delicate form. It also makes it crazy high in antioxidants.
