This tea infused cocktail combines the tart, freshness of lemon juice with the sweet, grassy notes of Teatulia Green Tea. Add the spicy bite of ginger infused vodka and you’ve got a perfectly refreshing spring or summer sip. This recipe was submitted by mixologist Anika Zappe from Denver’s creative eatery, Linger.
Green Tea Ginger Cooler Cocktail
Makes 2 generous cocktails
- 6 oz. just boiled water
- 2 tea bags Teatulia Green Tea
- 3 oz. ginger vodka (we used Skyy)
- 1 1/2 oz. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- Lemon wedges and mint leaves for garnish
Pour just boiled water over tea bags and let steep for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and let brewed tea cool. Combine cooled tea with all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice cubes and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into 2 (12 oz.) glasses filled halfway with fresh ice. Garnish with lemon wedges and mint leaves.
